      My inteal goals for this logo was to create a logo that would match my business which was a video game store. My end goals for this was to make my logo look very nice and colorful. My logo reprsents a video game system which is very popular and that is a business i want to open.I choose the vector shapes and paint brushes tools to help me redesign this logo the graphic design principles i used for this project was color, proximity/groupings, and repetition.

    This is my Lab 9 work for class. In this lab we had to use they paint brush tool and draw or paint using all the different style paint brush's photoshop has to use. What i first did was used the line tool to create boxes to but all the different type of paint brush tool there. To help me make the boxes i went to view then show and then i click grionce it showed up i traced the lines with the line tool. Then i used all the different paint brush's that i liked and i placed then in the boxes. After i choose the paint brush i wanna use i placed in in its one box. The tools i used for this project was the line tool and the paint brush and the grid. That is what i did for my lab 9 work.

Lab 8 Reflection

  This is my lab 8 work. In this lab we had to explore and use different types of shapes in photoshop cs6. We also had to learn how to use the line shape. We used the line shape to break up the white sheet of paper and made boxes. We used what we learned from the shapes to make shapes inside those boxes. I made the four (4) first boxes the four basic tools in photoshop. Their called Rectangle, Rounded Rectangled, Ellipse, and Polygon shapes. Then after that i used the custom shape tool to make custom shapes and gave then different colors. That is whay i did for my lab 8 project.

  This is the work from lab 7 that we did today in class. We had two choose, the first photos we choose we had to make it Liquify picture and play with the brush so our photo looks liquify. The second picture we choose had to be copy or dublicate 5 times. Then we had to use the grid, to open the grid we had to go to view, then click show, then click grid and the grid will come out. Then we could place the 5 photos we dublicate in the same spot and it will look even. Then i took the grid out by going to view, then click show , then click on grid. Finally i went to my second picture and i changed the fliter. To change the fliter i click on filter then flier gallery and then i choose from the many of the opions in the filter gallery mode and  i used this step for the filter gallery in all the 4 picturrs that i dubicated. And to the background i click filter then render then i also click clouds and i choose the background color blue to.This is what i did in lab 7

Project 4 Questions

1. Why did you pick the person/character you chose?
    The preson i picked for project 4 was Loinel Messi. I pick Loinel Messi because he is my favorite soccer player and he is very famous and very well know around the world as the soccer king because he is really good at soccer.

2. List all the images you used inside the cutout and why you used them?
    The 8 images i have choosen was 1. Ball de ore 2. Argentina flag 3. Adidas logo
 4. Golden feet 5. Golden shoe 6. King logo 7. number 10 jeresy 8. Fifa 15 logo. I chose this 8 images because they relate to Lionel Messi. For example the Ball de ore is a golden soccer given to the best soccer player of the year, Messi has won 4 of thos. The Argetnina flag because that is where he is from and the team he plays in.   The Adidas logo because he is spoursed by adidas. The Golden Feet because japan payed image in honoring messi career by making a replica of his feet in golden calling his feet the golden feet of soccer. The the Golden Shoe because fifa gave this award to the best goaol maker of the year and Messi won one of this. The King logo because people around the world call him King. The number 10 jeresy because that is his number in his team. And the Fifa 15 logo because he is the cover of Fifa 15 and he is in the game to. Thats why i have choosen those 8 images that realte to Lionel Messi.

3. How did your mask/selection make your silhouette work?
    The mask selection made my silhouete work because it allowed the 5 sentences i woret about that person go all the way around him. To make the mask selcetion and the silhouette work i had to look back at the hand out they gave us and all th seteps. You will know if it work when the 5 sentences go around that famous person and it looks like it is floating around him.

4. What words did you pick to trace around your image and why?
    The 5 words i have choosen to go around the person was 1. Argentina 2. Jeresy Number 10 3. Short  4. Soccer player 5. Champion. I choosed Argentina because that is were he is from. I choose Jeresy Number 10 because that is the number he wears in Argentina and F.C Barcelonea to. I choose Short because he is a short soccer player. I choose Soccer Player because he plays soccer. I also choose Champion because he had won the Ball de ore, Golden Shoe, and was a finals champion with his team F.C Barcelonea. Those were the 5 words i choose to descibe Lionel Messi.

5. What did work and what didnt work with your project overall?
     Everything work well for me for the project 4. Except the part were i need to make the load the mask layer and put the words on the line. I messed up 3 times doing that step. So i ask for help and i learned how to do it finally.

           For project number 4 we had choose a famous person we know about and find 8 pictures about them and write 5 sentences about the famous person you have chosen. So the first step we need to do was find a picture of that famous person we choose and open it up in photoshop. The second step was to make a mask with the famous person then convert it to a mask layer. The third step was to find 8 pictures that relate to this famous person you have choose. The fourth step was to place all the 8 pictures inside of the famouse person. The fifth step was to write 5 words or sentences that describe that person. The sixth step was to duplicate the layer, name it and load your cut out selection. The seventh step was to make a path and a group for your image. The eigth step was to place your 5 sentences or words that describe the person on the lines that appera in the image. The nineth step was to hit command and v to duplicate those words around that person. Once i was done i create a background color and then i made the sencetences around the famous perosn bigger and with more space arounfd it. That was what i did in project number 4.

          This is project number 3, in project 3 we got an old picture from our mom and dad and used photoshop cs6 to fix up the photo. To fix this photos we need to use the tools we learned from our previous lab. The tools i used in this project was Spot healing tool, Healing Brush Tool, Patch, Clone Stamp, Easer, Blur, Sharpen, Smudge, Burn . Those are the list of tools we learned in our previous lab and could of used in this project. The spot healing tool heals a spot in your image that you want to heal. The patch tool patchs up parts in your image that have white spots. The Clone Stamp tool clones a certain part in your image and you can use the clon and place it somewhere in the image. The esaer, easers parts that you want to easer. The blur tool blur out an image that want blured. The sharpen tool makes a part of an image that you want to look brighter. the smudge tool makes your image look smudge like water was on top of it. And finally the burn tool burns out a part of the image. I used all these tools in my photo on top. As you can see i fixed up the image because in the oringal image you see banners on top with shadows. I took out those banners and shawdow to. As you can also see the door in the first picture is dirty and in the second picture it is not anymore. Those are the things i did in my project 3 for the picture.

I learned how to use mask tool in this project by selecting the part and using quick select tool and then clicking quick select again. We also learned how to use selections in our project by making selections to a part in our project and adding things to it like Hue/Satuartion.

2. The part that I like in this project was how we got to make and add selections and masks to this project that was the best part in selections i add hue and saturation and lower the brightness and aslo add a mask to the project so I can move the picture around 

3. This project relates to web design because when you create a website you will use what you did in this project to create it by adding masks and selections to a website that you will create .

Lab 6 Reflection Journal

    In this lab number 6 we had to use some new tools we didnt know what they were called or what they do. This is a list of the following tools we used for this lab 1.Spot Healing Tool 2. Healing Brush Tool 3. Patch 4. Clone Stamp
5. Easer 6. Blur 7. Sharpen 8. Smudge 9. Dodge 10. Burn 11. Sponge. We used all this tools in our lab 6. We used the the spot healing tool to elimate the sprinklers and the healing brush tool on the grass then we used it on the gray water that used to be in the bottom left conner. We used the patch tool to patch things up in our images. We also used the Clone Stamp, Easer, Blur tool in this lab we used the blur tool to blur out a certain image. We used the easer tool to easer things out from the picture or a mistake you made. We used the clone stamp to make a copy or a certain thing in the image a duplicate it. In this lab we also used the sharpen to make things look brighter and the smudge tool to smudge things out from the image. We used the dodge tool as well as the burn tool whichs burns things out in the picture and the sponge tool to.

Project 2 Andy Warhol Reflection Essay

       Andy Warhol is an American Painter and flimaker born in August 6,1928 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and died on February 22, 1987 in New York City. Andy Warhol had a very successful career in painting. He did all and different type of portraits. He painted famous peoples portraits and colored them with different color. Andy Warhol was know for his famous pop art worked in hid time. He had a very successful career in pop art he was well know and lots of famous people liked his artistic view.

            Andy Warhol paintings and portraits were very good. Lots of people in that time bought all of his work. His work sometimes reminded people of Leonardo de Vinci. People association his work always had good things to say about it. Even critics try to confused the people of his pop art work.  His work was very inspiring and very nice to look at. Andy Warhol had different portraits of famous people he painted and the people loved it and they always waited to see what else he was going to do next. I can compared that Andy Warhol’s work to Leonardo de Vinci.

            There are lots of differences in Andy Warhol’s work. Like the informed and uninformed opinions in his work.  Informed means the artist informs you of what he is trying to make. And uninformed means the artist paints a painting but tells no back story or why he painted this picture. In some cases Andy Warhol’s  work is uninformed. People always had different bias in Andy Warhol portraits and paintings some people have different taste in portraits and paintings. People always have questioned why does Andy Warhol or why does any artist do portraits. I say that portraits are important to us because that’s how we can express our emotions. The tools I used to make this project is rectangle marquee tool, lasso tool, magic wand tool, move tool, ruler, cutout, and adjustments.

Color Wheel

    I select this color beacuse i found the oppsite if there color in the color wheel. I oick the color green and its oppsite color is red. I also pick yellow its oppsite color was purple. Those two color were the ones i pick and i found there oppsite color.

    In lab 5 we had to take a picture of the people in our group and select their faces and move their faces around, switch their faces with the other person. We learned how to use layer mask, mask tool, and brush tool in this lab. We alson leanred what the mask tool was and how to use it in this lab with our faces.

2. Would you buy his artwork? Why or Why not?

   Yes i would buy his work because it is good work and very movated to do your own work like him or become an artist like him.

3. What does it remind you of?

    His work reminds me of Leonardo de Vinci because it is very movated and makes you think of what the painter was trying to desplay in his work

4. Is the association pleasant or important; is it unpleasant or banal?

    The association is plesant because it makes you the viewing the painting think like what was the artist trying to deplay and what does this mean to 

you 

5. What do critics do in popular culture?

    Critics in popular culture sometimes try to think for the audience or thry try to confused you the viewer

6. What is the difference between an informed and uninformed opinion?

    Informed means the artist informs you why he painted this and gives you fact and uninformed means the artist paints the painting but gives no imformation in the painting and you ask your self questions

7. How are taste and bias different?

   Taste is the way you see the painting and bias is the judgement you give

   

8. Compare and contrast the formal aspects of Warhol’s portraits (e.g., his use of color and shape, each artwork’s overall balance and unity, and the sitter’s pose).

    When Wrahol would paint you would always ask your self questions and compares his stuff or aspects with other aspects and you can contrast the understanding of his imagination 

9. Are portraits important to us? Why or why not?

    I think that portraits are important for us because we can always look back at them and think or it could just remind us of something special

10. Why have artists painted portraits throughout the ages?

     Artist have painted portraits throughout the ages to show there feelings or express themselevs to other threw portraits

11. How do you feel about making a Warhol portrait of yourself?

      I feel nice that we can make a Warhol portrait because it makes me feel what he feels and it movated me to do to more portraits like him

12. How did you create your Warhol portrait?

     I can create a Warhol portrait by taking a picture of myself and making it black and white and also painting each picture different color and different color background.

13. What tools did you use?

    The tools i need to use are the following i need the rectangle marquue tool, lasso tool, magic wand tool, move tool, ruler, cutout, and adjustments

14. How do you see yourself using these skills in the future?

      It will help us in the future when we want to create a website we could use what we learened in project 2 for our website.

Do Now #4

Explain why attention to detail and the following procedure are important elements of Web Design?
 Paying attention in class is very important because if the teacher tells you what to do step by step and you are not paying attention in class or to the lesson you will do something wrong and she will not explain it again to you. It is also important to follow the procedure to a task or a lab in class so you don't do anything wrong in your lab or task. It is important to know the elements of Web Design to do well in the class and not mess up.

Do Now #3

Explain how do we take notes?
 We take notes by copying the aim and do now in your notebook and answering your do now. I also copy down the important key points from the board into my notebook and the the points the teacher wants us to copy do. I also highlight impotant key points so i can read it later and to study for an up coming test.

lab4

In lab 4 we got a picture from a desk top and copr the photo 5 times. In 4 photos we have to change the hue, staturation,black and white and rplace color on the 4 photos  for our lab4 we had to use it for every 4 pictures we used in our lab4

Lab3

In lab 3 we learned how to messing and change a pictures color using the black and white, hue and staturation, replace color modes . We used those modes in a picture of a dog and tried messing with the color and background color in our lab3

In lab 2 we learned how to use the lasso tools and the marquue tools in photo shop. We use those tools in our lab to create a face with all the firuts using the tools we lasso and marquue tools.

In Lab 1 we did the following first we took picture of different things we see using the carmera angles the carmera angles we are suppose to use are low and high viewpoint , landscape, close up and eye level shoot

Selection tools in Photoshop

1.) We can make a selection with the magnetic lasso tool by clicking the object and the magnetic lasso tool will copy the image you press to select.

2.) We can make a selection by using the magic wand tool by going to the tool box and selecting magic wand tool then you can use it on an image, it makes it easy to use because it very quick to use

3.) We can make a selection by using the quick selection tool, you go to the image and click the image then you go to the tool box and click on and use the quick selection tool and use it, it is a easy to use in photoshop.
